Configure limits, filters, notifications, and automation

Settings controls how aggressive suggestions and applies can be. Tabs: Limits, Filters, Notifications, and Automation (Pro). Auto-implement uses suggestion Confidence (0–100%), not the Overview linking Score.

Prerequisites

• Link Pilot installed
• For Automation tab: Link Automation Pro

Steps — Limits

1. Open Settings → Limits.
2. Set max links per content item (default 5), min anchor words (default 2), min gap between anchors, max inbound per destination, and min cosine similarity for semantic matches (AI embeddings; default around 0.32).
3. Save.

Steps — Filters

1. Open Settings → Filters.
2. Optionally exclude draft and out-of-stock destinations.
3. Maintain the ignore-handles list (defaults include password, gift-card, policies).
4. Save.

Steps — Notifications

1. Open Settings → Notifications.
2. Choose suggestion email frequency (off / daily / weekly).
3. Enable weekly analytics digest when on Link Automation.
4. Send a sample email if available to verify delivery.

Steps — Automation (Pro)

1. Open Settings → Automation.
2. Enable auto-implement and set min confidence (70–99, default 85). That threshold is the weighted suggestion score, not store-wide Overview Score.
3. Save. High-confidence suggestions can apply without manual approve; use history to revert if needed.

Tips

• Start conservative (lower max links, higher similarity) on large catalogs.
• Re-run suggest after major Settings changes so new caps apply.
• Do not auto-implement until you have accepted a sample by hand.

Troubleshooting

• Too few suggestions: lower min similarity or expand allowed source types.
• Automation tab missing: upgrade to Link Automation Pro.
