Use case
Expand your AI query set
Grow AI Presence tracked keywords toward your plan limit (10 / 50 / 100) with category and comparison prompts Shopify shoppers actually ask.
Highlights
What you get out of this flow
Outcomes you can expect when you run this playbook inside EShopSet on Shopify.
- Fill Starter 10 → Growth 50 → Pro 100 deliberately
- Add category and comparison prompts, not only brand vanity terms
- Keep a living taxonomy so reporting stays clear
Why expansion is a managed process
Dumping 100 random keywords dilutes Overview. Expansion should follow a taxonomy: brand, category, comparison, seasonal. That way citation rates stay interpretable when you report to leadership.
How it works in EShopSet
Add keywords in AI Presence Settings up to your plan cap. Prefer prompts from onsite search, support macros, and SEO keyword lists that already convert. After adding 10–20 at a time, let several syncs land before judging performance.
Example: growing from Starter to Growth
A merchant started with 10 keywords (mostly brand). After proving monitoring value, they upgraded to Growth ($99 launch) and added 35 prompts: 15 category, 12 comparison, 8 seasonal. Within a month they could show that category citation rate lagged brand by ~45 points—funding a dedicated content pod.
Playbook
- Audit current mix percentages.
- Pull 20 candidate prompts from search/support.
- Add in batches of ≤15; tag each by type.
- Stop at ~90% of plan cap to leave room for experiments.
- Quarterly: prune zero-signal vanity queries.
What to measure
- Utilization of plan keyword cap
- Citation rate by prompt type
- New prompts with zero mentions after 14 syncs (rewrite or drop)
