Preview, Apply, and runs
Preview is the safety rail for manual changes. Large catalogs process as a single logical run across multiple background jobs.
Prerequisites
- Sheet, mapping, and policies configured
Steps
- Start a Preview (manual). Wait until the run finishes computing creates / updates / archives.
- Reconcile surprising archive or create counts before touching Apply.
- Click Apply when the diff matches intent.
- Watch Logs / run status. Large sheets continue in chunks until the run completes—treat it as one sync, not many unrelated jobs.
Tips
- Never Apply the first Preview after a huge sheet redesign without spot-checking sample rows.
- Scheduled syncs do not pause for Preview; validate structural changes with a manual Preview first, then re-enable the schedule.
Troubleshooting
- Preview stuck running: wait for chunk continuation; check Logs for errors mid-run.
- Apply counts differ from Preview: the sheet changed between runs—Preview again.
