Data Sync keeps your Google Sheet as the source of truth and Shopify as the destination. Connect Google, pick a spreadsheet and worksheet, map columns to Shopify fields, and choose how to match existing products.
What you can do
- Map handle, title, body, vendor, type, tags, status, SKU, barcode, price, compare-at, inventory, weight, and image
- Match on variant SKU, handle, Shopify product ID, or barcode
- Policies for new rows (create or skip), matched rows (update mapped fields, price+inventory only, or skip), and removed rows (do nothing, archive, or zero inventory—never hard-delete)
- One-time import, one-time update, or scheduled sync (hourly, daily, or weekly)
- Preview before apply on manual runs; safety checks for empty sheets and large removal spikes
Honest limits (v1)
Import only—no Shopify → Sheet export. Single-variant products, one image, one inventory location, no metafields. Row caps follow your plan (up to 1,000 on Starter, 5,000 on Growth/Pro).
